Overview
FitCam ("the app") is a workout video camera that shows live health metrics on the camera viewfinder. This policy describes how we handle your information.
Health data — we do not store it on our servers
FitCam uses Apple HealthKit and, when you use an Apple Watch, your watch’s workout session to display heart rate, duration, distance, and similar metrics on screen while you record video. This health data stays on your device and in Apple’s Health ecosystem. We do not collect, transmit, or store your health data on our servers.
Data on your device
Video and photos you record are saved only to your device’s Photos library (or as permitted by your iOS settings). We do not upload your recordings to our servers. Any app settings or preferences are stored locally on your device.
In-app purchases
If you make in-app purchases (e.g. FitCam Pro), payment is processed by Apple. We may receive anonymized purchase information from Apple (e.g. that a purchase occurred) for support and analytics. We do not receive your payment details.
Analytics and crashes
We may use analytics or crash-reporting tools that collect non-personal, technical data (e.g. device type, app version, crash logs) to improve the app. This does not include health data or your video content.
Changes
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will be revised when we do. Continued use of FitCam after changes means you accept the updated policy.
Contact
If you have questions about this privacy policy or FitCam’s handling of data, you can contact us through the FitCam app support or the contact method provided in the App Store listing.
